My Story
Towards the end of an art opening of mine back in 2010, while talking with a friendly couple at the show, I was asked by them if I could paint their daughter's wedding. Up to that point I'd only done studio art . . . I said, "Yes." I painted the wedding live, and it was love at first-painted wedding! Little did I know I was saying, yes, to a whole new world for my art, one where I'd be able to capture in a painting, some of the most important moments in people’s lives, giving them a painting to cherish for generations to come. Ive been all across Wisconsin and the Midwest, painting wedding ceremonies and receptions live!
Leif Larson, who lives in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, has been a professional artist for 20 years. Over the past 16 years, Leif has valued and cherished the opportunity to make wedding paintings for those starting their married lives together.
